It’s September again which means another Vogue’s Fashion Night Out (FNO) in London where for one night in the year the fashion inspired fill the streets and shops stay open late to party. This year consisted of yet more free drinks, gifts and beautiful people.
Highlights of the night were the amazing cupcakes in Calvin Klein, Victoria Secret swooning, cocktails at Tateossian, DJ Bebe Black in Vivienne Westwood Man and the aerial gymnastics in the Burlington arcade.
FNO is the place to be seen providing yet another memorable night out. Bring on next year already!

Vogue Fashion’s Night Out
For the third year running the 8th September brings Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. A night to browse around stores, get involved with events and enjoy a few glasses of champagne or two. The global event celebrates fashion and features a mixture of bloggers, celebrities and designers. FNO is the place to be seen. http://fashions-night-out.vogue.co.uk/

My events for the evening first started in Liberty where they were taking photos of people wearing a selection of their scarfs. The idea was to stand behind a back drop of a Vogue cover.

Behind the scenes of my attempt. ;)

Annnd the final photo. Little bit of fun I thought. Shame about my wind swept hair..
Other photos from the shoot can be found here.. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150280417137471.345156.52227762470&type=1

New Bond street was a catwalk of beautiful people.

Vivienne Westwood was throwing a major party. Inside consisted of cocktails, dj’s, and even more beautiful people..

Moschino were serving cute alcohol concoctions in tea cups. Very sweeeet.

If you were extreme enough to queue up then you could have a photo shoot in a back of a Dior taxi. Looked pretty cool. Although don’t know how Michael Kors felt about this idea as their latest campaign was pretty similar.

Busy busy.

Rob Ryan was the artist to design the T-shirts for FNO. On the street little booths were set up to buy them. Starbucks were also available here.

Sketch, an interesting bar/restaurant on Conduit Street. These were the amazing loos. Pee in a pod.http://www.sketch.uk.com/

Across the room, the boys loos. Really surreal.

The bar is in the dome. As you can see only guys are buying the drinks.

To finish the night off and the blog post, here’s a lovely picture of Ed with a his new friend.
Abigail Brown
I’ve just come across the cutest work by an artist called Abigail Brown. All hand made and hand sewn each piece is unique. So much detail has been put into these, they are beautiful. No wonder the likes of Vogue and Elle feature it in their magazines and Liberty and Paul Smith stock it.

The Ponsenby Owl. (My favourite)

The Fox Boy.

The Blue Tit.

The Flamingo.

The Little Swan.

The wonderful life of Grace Coddington
After watching The September Issue for the 4th time last night I thought I better do a little blog post showing my appreciation to Grace Coddington, the creative director of American Vogue.
I believe her work to be absolutely outstanding, with her attention to detail jaw dropping. This image here is from the 1920’s inspired shoot that didn’t actually make the cut for the September 2007 issue yet it still remains my favourite.
She has such passion for the industry and the work that she creates. I admire the fact that she also refers herself as a romantic and the way that she brings it into her styling.
Grace Coddington, you are my idol.
P.S if anyone wants to buy me the book - Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue,
I’d be very grateful. Thank you.
